Make sure you don’t call him.

The best approach is not to call your ex at all so you will get over things quicker. You life will never return to normal until you stop calling him. If you call him then you could be in too much of an emotional state to think rationally about what he might be doing or saying. Therefore, to give yourself time to grow in strength and get over him, you should avoid contact at all.
