I will provide you a series of Mindset articles to help you build your MLM, Direct Sales or Top Tier program. Before I go over the 6 steps there are three things you really, really need in business and they are:

I don’t know about you but sometimes life gets us going in many directions and sometimes it’s good to STOP and focus for a few minutes. Do you remember your; WHY when you joined your MLM business?

There is so much confusion right now as to how to build a successful home based business. I Totally understand that as I too fell into all the GURU ideas and opted into list after list to find out the HOW of making money from home.

1. Connecting with People – Have you heard…like and trust BUT a huge mistake people make in prospecting, marketing and sales is that they never build a strong rapport or connection with their prospects before pitching them on their business; Nuriche or any other. This makes the business hard, no fun and full of rejection. Plus others see your business (the business you want them to join) for only “sales types” and just a pitch-fest. Simple remember to create the relationship first, the “friendship” and the rest will tend to fall in place. If you don’t have a good connection with your prospect, you’ll never know his/her real objection. As corny as it may sound to some; people want you to be interested in them, to care about them and if the connections is there it opens it up to discuss their concerns, objections and desires for your business in a much more open and easy manner. This if often overlooked and if you practice, people will trust you more, connect with you and that will result in sponsoring more people.

WHAT you can do if you could put fear aside?

The right mindset when you start begining operating a business is very critical to your success but it is often an overlooked area.

I’m asked all the time about how to make money and to be honest with you I hardly knew the answer for a long time. You see I am not much different than you and others that simply want to make some money from home but get caught up in all the fancy systems and techniques; then another one and then another one…

It’s kind of funny to see the MLM guys in one corner and the Top Tier guy in another as to what is best. I have to tell you the truth; marketing is marketing and you just have to find something you like and then apply yourself.

1. I don’t have the time. This one is funny and I almost laugh when people tell me about it. Seems like people don’t have time for church or (Nuriche) MLM! All kidding aside (or not) people have time and they just need to get their priorities in order and that is where their WHY has to be bigger then playing on a few softball leagues or going out every night to play pool and have a drink with the boys, etc. You see time is the real objection; it is their needs, desires and their WHY that is on trial here. In a prior article I covered connecting with people, pre-qualifying and understanding their WHY. If you follow that simple pattern, you will speak to more people and hear this excuse much less.
